On May 4, 2026, at 1531 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Depatment was dispatched to a house fire in the 4800 block of Trier Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1533 hours
Under Control: 1547 hours
The first units on the scene reported smoke and flames coming from the attic gable area above the attached garage on a medium single-story residential structure. No occupants were in the home. The fire was reported by a passer-by. A small fire was found in the attic space above the garage and rapidly extinguished.
A few crews remained on the scene to overhaul the area and work with the investigator to find the cause.
