Trek the Trails and Tread the Trails Season Kick-Off
Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 21, 2026) – The 2026 season for Trek the Trails and Tread the Trails will begin on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 p.m. at Promenade Park. This kick-off event includes a free Trails Celebration Party hosted by Fort Wayne Trails from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. TEDS Snack + Bar will be open with drinks for purchase and Fort Wayne Trails will have light snacks on hand.
Trek the Trails and Tread the Trails will take place during the same weeks this year.

- 5/12/26: Life Bridge Church, 12719 Corbin Road
- 5/26/26: Rockhill Park, Catalpa St & W Jefferson Boulevard
- 6/09/26: Jack R. Harris Park, N. Main St., Grabill
- 6/23/26: Shoaff Park, 6401 St. Joe Rd.

Tread the Trails is presented by the City of Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Trails Inc and The Fort Wayne Running Club.
The Fort Wayne Area Trails Network consists of 165 miles of trails, with 110 miles inside City limits. Most of the trails in City limits are planned, designed, constructed and maintained by the City of Fort Wayne, under the leadership of Mayor Sharon Tucker.
