Winter Weather Travel Watch issued for Allen County Indiana
Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 25, 2026) – A Travel Watch is issued for Allen Co, IN. Steady overnight snow has made all roads snow covered slick and hazardous. Heavy snow is expected to continue falling throughout the day, making travel difficult and hazardous. Strong wind gusts will cause drifting and piling of snow, especially in open and rural areas. Residents should avoid travel if possible.

Means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a “watch” local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.
