A winter weather travel Advisory has been issued for Allen County, Indiana
Fort Wayne, Indiana (December 29, 2025) – Many roadways have become snow covered, slick, and hazardous. Area law enforcement agencies are working over 23 separate crashes currently. Most crashes this afternoon have been on local roadways, but as the evening commute begins, crashes are now also occurring on the area highways where motorists are driving too fast for existing conditions. Continued snowfall, high winds, and reduced visibility are combining to make travel hazardous in many areas. Motorists must slow down, give each other extra room, and use caution in intersections, on bridges, and highway ramps where turns and merges could be slick.
