
Foellinger Foundation’s Board of Directors approved grants totaling $3,536,125 to support nonprofit organizations in Allen County, Indiana.

Foellinger Foundation Awards $3,536,125 in Early Childhood Development Grants, Family Development Grants, and More in Allen County
Fort Wayne, Indiana (December 19, 2025) – Foellinger Foundation’s Board of Directors approved grants totaling $3,536,125 to support nonprofit organizations in Allen County, Indiana. These grants were awarded in four key areas: Early Childhood Development, Family Development, Capacity Building and a Special Opportunity.
“These grants represent our ongoing commitment to partnering with mission-driven and results-oriented nonprofits that help build a vibrant community where each person has the chance to thrive,” said Foellinger Foundation President and CEO Sarah Strimmenos.
Four Early Childhood Development grants totaling $190,000 were awarded to organizations focused on helping children achieve developmental milestones and enable parents and providers to support children’s health and well-being. Recipients include:
- Building Blocks Outreach
- Early Childhood Alliance
- Little Thinkers School of Early Learning
- Neighborhood Health
Fourteen Family Development grants totaling $3,240,000 were awarded to nonprofits that help adults engage in behaviors that support their families in moving from dependence to independence. Recipients include:
- Bridge of Grace
- Brightpoint
- Building A Stronger Family
- Catholic Charities
- Community Harvest Food Bank
- Courageous Healing
- Cross Connections
- East Wayne Street Center
- Easterseals Northeast Indiana
- Just Neighbors
- Matthew 25 Health and Care
- The Rescue Mission
- Wellspring
- YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne
Three Capacity Building grants totaling $56,125 were also awarded to support board-driven initiatives that enhance an organization’s financial sustainability, governance, and operational effectiveness.
A Special Opportunity grant of $50,000 was also awarded. Special Opportunity grants are given at the board of directors’ discretion and support timely, unique projects in Allen County, Indiana.
