FWFD: House Fire, 3000 block Reed Street

On November 11, 2025, at 0128 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3000 block of Reed Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0128 hours
On Scene: 0132 hours
Under Control: 0225 hours

Fire and smoke were showing as multiple firefighting crews arrived. Crews entered the structure to start efforts to control the fire and search for victims. In a few minutes, an occupant was found and removed from the house. Medics and firefighters immediately started treatment, but the occupant eventually succumbed to their injuries. Firefighters remained on scene for several hours making sure the house was extinguished. The fire was determined to be accidental in nature.
