Final 2025 ‘U Can Crush Hunger’ Results are In at Community Harvest Food Bank
Fort Wayne, Indiana (November 11, 2025) – Community Harvest Food Bank’s 11th Annual U Can Crush Hunger Food Drive Campaign: Energized by NIPSCO and the NISource Charitable Foundation has come to a close. Our final weigh-in at all participating schools is now complete, and we have exciting news to share! As of Monday, November 11th, a whopping 137,335 pounds of food have been raised shattering our overall goal of 125,000 pounds! The competition ended Friday, November 8th. Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech, Manchester University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Trine University, and the University of Saint Francis were all extremely competitive in this year’s U Can Crush Hunger holiday food drive. Every dollar and pound of food raised in this competition will support hunger relief initiatives within the counties where food and funds are collected, including all partner school pantries.
We are thrilled to announce the results of our final weigh in.
The standings are as follows:
- PFW – 43,875 lbs
- Indiana Tech – 19,995 lbs
- University of Saint Francis – 17,451 lbs
- Ivy Tech – 13,047 lbs
- Manchester University – 11,893 lbs
- Trine University – 11,628 lbs
- IU Fort Wayne – 10,856 lbs
- Huntington University – 8,590 lbs
Grand Total: 137,335 pounds of food
