
The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested Joseph Bossard of Fort Wayne in connection with the Hobson Road triple homicide investigation.

Regarding this earlier shooting investigation, detectives were quickly able to determine that the previously identified suspect was located at a residence in the 2200 block of Laverne Ave in Fort Wayne.
Because of the nature of the incident and the crimes involved, the Emergency Services Team and Crisis Negotiation Team were called to assist. Negotiators tried to contact the suspect for almost two hours with no response. The Emergency Services Team eventually introduced a chemical agent into the home that finally motivated the suspect to surrender peacefully.
The suspect is currently at the police station being questioned. The identity of the suspect, as well as any potential charges, will be released when appropriate.
