Details/Summary:
Fort Wayne Police Department Responded to a crash involving a Citilink bus and a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male in the roadway suffering from traumatic injuries. Medics transported the subject to a local hospital where a doctor determined the subject was in life-threatening condition.
Initial statements from witnesses on scene indicated the subject stepped off the bus, and as the bus pulled away, the subject tripped on the curb and fell under the back wheels of the bus.
The FWPD FACT team was called to the scene and with the assistance of ASU, started documenting the scene. The FACT Team will work with Citilink to obtain any video that might exist on the bus.

This incident is under investigation by the FWPD FACT Team.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
