Traffic Alert: New traffic signal installed on Washington Center Road

A new traffic signal has been installed as part of the Pufferbelly Trail project at the intersection of West Washington Center Road and Industrial Road.

City of Fort Wayne news release:

New Traffic Signal Installed on Washington Center Road

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 27, 2025) – A new traffic signal has been installed as part of the Pufferbelly Trail project at the intersection of West Washington Center Road and Industrial Road. The signal is currently operating in flash and will begin operating with full control on July 8. When the trail project is complete, the new signal will aid trail users in crossing West Washington Center Road along the continuation of the Pufferbelly Trail.
