Traffic Alert: Southbound Fairfield closing Tuesday

The southbound lane on Fairfield from Dewalt Street to West Creighton Avenue will be closed on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

City of Fort Wayne news release:

Traffic Alert: Southbound Fairfield Avenue Lane Closure, Detour – Tuesday

Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 19, 2025) – Field Operations will replace sewer manhole structures along Fairfield Avenue on Tuesday, May 20, beginning at 8:00 AM.

The southbound lane on Fairfield from Dewald Street to W. Creighton Avenue will be closed. A marked detour will occur from Taylor Street to Broadway and W. Creighton Avenue. Additionally, Dewald will be closed from Fairfield to Oakley Street.

This closure is expected to last three days.
