On May 8, 2025, at 0723 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a house fire in the 400 block of Wiebke Street.
Time of Alarm: 0723 hours
On Scene: 0725 hours
Under Control: 0740 hours
Upon arrival, the Battalion Commander confirmed that there was fire showing from multiple areas inside the home. Engine 11 arrived and started to extinguish the fire, and confirmed all occupants were outside and safe. One dog exited with the occupants, but one cat is still missing.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.

Smoke Damage: Moderate
Assisting the Fort Wayne Fire Department at the scene was the City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, Indiana Michigan Power, NIPSCO, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, and the Fort Wayne Police Department.
