Canstruction 2025 Results are In at Community Harvest Food Bank
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 5, 2025) – Community Harvest Food Bank’s Canstruction Campaign is complete! Our final food item count used to build structures is at 24,102! The final weigh in for all of the food used is about 25,000 pounds, all of which will be used to support our nine-county service area! On Sunday, May 4th, 2025, Final votes were counted, and this year’s People’s Choice Award Winner (and recipient of $1,000 prize) was:
- 1st Central Noble Jr/Sr High School! They garnered 535 votes.
- 2nd Place: Northside High School: 401 votes.
- 3rd Place: Concordia: 220 votes.
- 4th Place: South Adams Middle School 25 votes.
- Tied for 5th Place: Northrop and Leo High School.
Each vote is one dollar. So, schools raised an additional $1,181 for the food drive! Central Noble and Northside had a great back and forth with CN pulling ahead late and staying on top. In addition to The People’s Choice Award, CN wins the $1,000 prize, and they also won special awards for Most Cans (11,000+), Best Original Design, and Best Use of Labels! Northside HS won a special award for Best Structural Integrity, and Concordia Lutheran won a special award for Best Meal. This is one of CHFB’s largest food drives and could not come at a more critical time. We owe a lot of credit to our staff, volunteers, students, and teachers! In addition, our event Sponsors, most notably, Brotherhood Mutual and Profed Credit Union.
