In order to address safety concerns to the playground at Bloomingdale Park, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation has installed temporary fencing around the playground.

Playground at Bloomingdale Park closed for repairs
Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 28, 2025) – In order to address safety concerns to the playground at Bloomingdale Park, Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation has installed temporary fencing around the playground. The repair and/or replacement of the equipment is estimated to take a few months, possibly into mid-summer. Until that time, the playground will be closed.
