FWFD: House Fire, 6200 block Brandonwood Lane

The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a report of a residential fire in the 6200 block of Brandonwood Lane on April 26, 2025, at 0307 hours.

Time of Alarm: 0307 hours
On Scene: 0313 hours
Under Control: 0328 hours

A fully engulfed small single story residential home was found on the arrival of first apparatus. Fire crews began an aggressive fire attack with multiple hose lines while attempting to gain entry for a search for occupants. No Occupants were found on initial searches and multiple second searches.

There was a large amount of fire damage with much debris on ground slowing crews’ efforts in overhauling and extinguishing all the hot spots.

An investigation is going on to determine the cause.
