On April 1, 2025 at 1320 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 2300 block of Bowser Avenue.
The FWPD announced on April 9, 2025, they have made an arrest in this investigation.

Details/Summary:
On April 1st, 2025 at roughly 1:20 pm, the FWPD responded to reports of a shooting at the 2300 block of Bowser Ave. Upon arrival Officers located an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound outside in the parking lot. he was rendered aid on scene, before being transported by TRAA to a local hospital in non-Life threatening condition.
Detectives arrived and took over the investigation. Potential witnesses were being sought and interviewed. The crime scene was combed for evidence and possible surveillance cameras. This is a fluid and ongoing investigation by the FWPD and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
