The Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 500 block of Spring Street on March 4, 2025, at 1403 hours.

The first crew arrived in less than 4 minutes to find a large commercial building with smoke coming from the roof. Upon further investigation, a working fire was found in the large attic space of the business.
Through the coordination of the crews on the scene and an aggressive fire attack, the fire was extinguished within approximately 20 minutes. The building was cleared of any employees, and work to salvage the equipment in the building was completed. Six adults self-evacuated the building.
