Board of Park Commissioners elects officers
Fort Wayne, Indiana (February 13, 2025) – At the February 13, annual election of officers and organizational meeting of the Fort Wayne Board of Park Commissioners, officers were elected to the following positions:
- Justin Shurley, President
- Cory Miller, Vice-President
Four members in total make up the Board of Park Commissioners also including Rick Briley who joined as commissioner in 2022 and Jenna Jauch who joined in 2023.
Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Director Steve McDaniel said “I want express thanks to each of the Commissioners for their service and dedication to the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department. From approving budget revenues and expenditures to establishing management policy and regulations as well as providing a public venue for community engagement, their service is vital to the health and growth of our Parks system.”
