The Allen County Coroner reports the first homicide of 2025.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 6, 2025) – On January 6, 2025, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified a death investigation at Promenade Park located at 202 W. superior Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
The victim was identified as Anthony Pau Wamue, male Black, 48 years of age from Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Notification has been made to the next of kin and an autopsy has been completed. The Cause of Death is Stab Wounds of Torso, and the Manner of Death is Homicide3.
Anthony Paul Wamue is the 1st Homicide for Allen County in 2025.The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
