
On December 24, 2024, at 1439 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of smoke coming from the roof of a house in the 5400 block of Butterfield Drive, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Time of Alarm: 1439 hours
On Scene: 1441 hours
Under Control: 1454 hours
When the first units arrived they found smoke coming from the attic area with fire in a bedroom.
The fire was quickly extinguished and is under investigation.
There was nobody at home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
Fire Damage: Moderate
Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Moderate
