At 14:45 hours, the FWPD’s Gang and Violent Crime Unit received a tip that a Dominique Mack who is wanted in Michigan for suspected murder and home invasion crimes in the state of Michigan was in Fort Wayne.

At approximately 2:45 PM., Fort Wayne Police Dept. Gang and Violent Crime Unit (GVCU) received a tip that a Dominique Mack was in Fort Wayne. He was wanted on suspected murder and home invasion crimes in Michigan. There was an active warrant for his arrest. The GVCU unit, via Good detective work, located a vehicle associated with the wanted person At 3003 W. Colosseum Blvd., Motel 6. They strongly suspected that Mack Was in the motel. Units with the GVCU and the FWPD EMERGENCY SERVICE TEAM (EST) Surrounded the motel and attempted to call out Mack. Eventually, Mack exited the motel and was taken into custody without further incident.
Mack Was taken into custody without further incident. He will be taken to the Allen County jail, and probably be e̶x̶c̶i̶t̶e̶d̶ [sic] extradited to Michigan soon.
