On June 2, 2023, at 2000 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 800 block of West Creighton Avenue in reference to a subject found unconscious and unresponsive in the backyard of a residence.

Details/Summary:
On Sunday, 06/02/2023, at approximately 8:00 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 800 block of West Creighton Avenue reference a subject found unconscious and unresponsive in the backyard of a residence. Officers arrived and the male/adult victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Fort Wayne Fire Department.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to assist in this death investigation.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased identity along with the cause and manner of death. This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
