Details/Summary:
On June 3, 2023, at 2:31pm, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the intersection of Bluffton Rd and Dade Dr regarding a crash involving a moped. Officers located an adult male in serious condition, who was taken to a local hospital by EMS. The adult male was later downgraded to life-threatening condition.
Initial information indicates the driver and sole occupant of the moped was traveling northbound on Bluffton Rd when something caused the driver to lose control and crash into a pole at the intersection of Dade Dr. There were no other vehicles or persons around or involved.
There is nothing further at this time.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department’s Crash Investigation Team.
