Details/Summary:
On Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at approximately 2:16AM, officers responded to reports of a shooting at Las Lomas, located at 2202 Fairfield Ave. While responding to the area, officers located a vehicle leaving the scene at a high rate of speed and pursued the vehicle to a local hospital, where they located an adult, male suffering from gunshot wounds. The male was escorted into the hospital where his wounds were deemed life-threatening. Officers who made the scene at Las Lomas also discovered an adult, male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was stabilized on scene, then transported to a local hospital. The FWPD Detective Bureau and Homicide Unit responded to process the scene and interview witnesses and victims.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
