Details/Summary:
On May 16th, 2023 at approximately 1247 hours, the FWPD responded to the Quality Inn located at 1734 W. Washington Center Rd. regarding an unknown problem in which two people were reported unconscious. Officers responded and located two people deceased inside of a room. The homicide unit responded and began an investigation which is active and ongoing. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the FWPD Investigative Division at 427-1201. The FWPD was assisted by the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, FWPD Crime Scene, TRAA, FWFD, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
