On November 28, 2021, at 1:06 a.m., the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 7900 block of Decatur Road in reference to a shooting that several witnesses reported.

On Sunday, 11/28/2021, at approximately 1:06 AM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to 7915 Decatur Road in reference to a shooting that was reported by several witnesses.
Officers arrived and located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and Crime Scene Technicians are processing the scene in an effort to obtain additional details.
A person of interest is being interviewed at this time.

This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased identity along with the cause and manner of death.
