The Fort Wayne Mad Ants will once again focus on events and promotions for families during Fort Wayne home games during their 15th anniversary season.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 13, 2021) – The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, will once again focus on events and promotions for families during Fort Wayne home games this season, particularly for weekend games and previously announced priority dates.
The Mad Ants, one of several G League teams playing games in NBA venues, will play a split schedule with a majority of home games held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, while nine games will be played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Six previously announced priority dates and nine other planned weekend dates, including the annual SteamFest and other exciting themed games, will make up the 15-game Fort Wayne schedule and celebrate the team’s 15th Anniversary season.
“I’m excited about the potential of playing a majority of our games on weekends in Fort Wayne this upcoming season,” Mad Ants president Tim Bawmann said. “While it is not traditional, it gives us an opportunity to really maximize our 15th Anniversary season. Our staff has been working hard to make this our best season yet in Fort Wayne.”
Later this summer, the Mad Ants will announce their full 50-game schedule along with more promotional giveaway and theme night information. In addition to other weekend dates, the previously announced priority dates for Coliseum games are:
