Dry conditions continue
Fort Wayne, Indiana (July 19, 2021) – Pleasant, dry conditions are expected over the next few days, with temperatures remaining seasonable. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s overnight under mostly clear skies. Highs tomorrow will be in the low to mid 80s with abundant sunshine. Skies may appear hazy from wildfire smoke tonight, and this will continue into the middle of the week as smoke from the Pacific Northwest wildfires lingers over the Midwest. This smoke is harmless, as it will stay in the upper atmosphere, although it may create some colorful sunrises and sunsets! A weak cold front will move through Tuesday night into Wednesday, which will drop the high temperatures by a few degrees, before they rebound into the mid 80s on Thursday. Heat indices will be in the upper 80s by then, and there is a slight chance for showers on Thursday evening.
