Two rounds of heavy rain today and tonight
Heavy rain, flooding, and damaging wind potential

Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 25, 2021) – We expect a couple rounds of precipitation today and tonight, with heavy rain and thunderstorms expected in each round. The first will be this morning into early-mid afternoon. After the afternoon lull, we expect another round to move in this evening and overnight. The potential for flooding will increase with each subsequent round as the ground becomes saturated. A flash flood watch is in effect for many counties west of Interstate 69, where we believe has the best chance for seeing greater rain totals. Minor flooding is expected for lowlands and along rivers and streams. Otherwise, there is an isolated damaging wind threat through the period. Additional rainfall is expected Saturday and Sunday.
