Update to the Villages of Hanna shooting which took place on May 22, 2021:
There were a total of five people suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
- Adult female is deceased
- Adult female remains in life-threatening condition
- Adult females remain in good condition
- Adult females remain in good condition
- Adult male is listed in good condition
The adult male has also been charged and booked on charges of Aggravated Battery Causing Death for his role in the shooting incident. He has been identified as Jamarion Thomas, 20yo male.
Beyond this, there is no further information available as this is an ongoing, active investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
