The Allen County Coroner has identified the 15th 2021 Allen County Homicide victim in the early morning Death Investigation on St. Marys Avenue.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (May 5, 2021) – At about 0100 hours on Wednesday May 5, 2021 the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a problem unknown investigation with a deceased person located in the 1200 block of St. Mary’s Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fort Wayne Police Department and Three Rivers Ambulance Authority Medics were dispatched to the scene, with the paramedics pronouncing death at the scene.
An autopsy has been completed and the next of kin has been notified of the death of Daelon Christopher Locke, male black 23 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound(s) and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Daelon Christopher Locke is the 15th Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This investigation continues with the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
