Allen County Coroner’s news release for the 2021 10th and 11th Allen County Homicides.
Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 21, 2021) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted and notified of a shooting incident on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at about 1725 hours, in the 800 block of Third Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Fort Wayne Police and Three Rivers Ambulance Medics were dispatched to the scene and found two female gunshot victims. Jennifer Ann Dray, Female White, 40 years of age was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital.
The autopsy has been completed. The Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound(s) and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Jennifer Ann Dray is the 10th Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
The second gunshot victim died while at a local hospital and her death was reported to the Allen County Coroner’s Office. The deceased has been identified as Amanda Lee Shroyer, Female White 30 years of age, from Fort Wayne, Indiana. An autopsy has been completed and the Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound(s) and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Amanda Lee Shroyer is the 11th Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
