Fort Wayne, Indiana (March 10, 2021) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a possible house fire in the 1700 block of Lough Nest Court today at 12:31 pm.
When firefighters arrived there was smoke coming from the kitchen window. Crews entered the structure and extinguished the fire and cleared the duplex. No one was inside when firefighters arrived. The fire was determined by investigators to be an accidental cooking fire.
The Fort Wayne Fire Department was assisted by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Indiana Michigan Power, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, the City of Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, and the American Red Cross.
