Fort Wayne Fire Department news release:
House fire, Blackwood Court
(December 5, 2020) – The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 3300 block of Blackwood Court this morning at 10:58 am.
The first engine to arrive met with the owner of the home who confirmed no one was inside. A search of the home was made with fire found throughout the attic of the house. This incident required multiple crews to complete an overhaul of areas involved in the fire. No injuries occurred at this incident and the cause remains under investigation. American Red Cross, Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code, NIPSCO, AEP, and TRAA responded to and assisted at this incident as well.
