On June 30, 2020, at 0920 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1900 block of Hale Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0920 hours
On Scene: 0925 hours
Under Control: 0941 hours
Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from second-floor windows. Firefighters entered the house and found a small fire on the first-floor. The fire was extinguished and the house was searched for occupants. No one was in the home at the time of the fire but family pets had perished. The fire was contained in approximately 20 minutes.

Water Damage: Minor
Smoke Damage: Moderate
