FWPD continues to investigate crimes committed by violent protesters over the last few weeks.
Additionally, the FWPD received tips from the community indicating that these suspects are planning acts of violence against citizens, police officers and the city.
ERIN FOGG (aka ERIN VAFIADES) DOB 4-30-1980
Preliminary Charges (no bond):
- Rioting
- Disorderly conduct
- Obstruction of Traffic
- Resisting Law Enforcement
JOSIAH DEES DOB 1-25-1989
Preliminary Charges:
- Refusal to Leave an Emergency Incident Area
- Resisting Law Enforcement
- Resisting Law Enforcement
- Obstruction of Traffic
Detectives located FOGG and DEES, who refused to exit their vehicle during a traffic stop. A large violent crowd began to develop, and FWPD detectives continued to negotiate with both suspects to prompt their surrender while additional officers ensured the safety of bystanders and re-routed traffic. FWPD summoned the Emergency Services Team, the Crisis Response Team and the Air Support Unit.
During this stop, an additional suspect, CHRISTIAN WOLFE, parked in the road dangerously close to the original stop and refused to leave. He was placed into custody.
