FWFD: House fire, Avondale Drive

Fort Wayne Fire Department news release:

House fire, Avondale Drive

(June 16, 2020) – FWFD was dispatched to a house fire. Upon Engine 11 arrival found working fire in rear and in attic of structure. All occupants self evacuated structure prior to FD arrival. Fire was quickly extinguished. Cause of fire still under investigation. FWFD was assisted by FWPD, TRAA, AEP, NIPSCO, and neighborhood code.
