The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested Bryshawn D. Terry Sr., five felony counts in the shooting of four people at the Diplomat Apartments in the 3220 block of Diplomat Drive.
On April 24, 2020, at 2110 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Diplomat Apartments in the 3220 block of Diplomat Drive after hearing numerous shots fired in the area.

On 4/24/2020 at approximately 9:10 pm officers of the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to Diplomat Apartments after hearing numerous shots fired in the area. Officers arrived in the complex and located four adult victims suffering apparent gunshot wounds at 3220 Diplomat Drive.
Witnesses indicated there may have been a physical altercation at this address earlier in the evening involving one of the shooting victims and another male suspect who reportedly threatened to come back and shoot up the apartment. Numerous shell casings were located outside the apartment.
The four victims were transported to local hospitals. Three of them with non-life threatening injuries and the fourth with life threatening.
The Fort Wayne Police Homicide Team are currently investigating the incident. Crime scene technicians were also called to process the scene and collect evidence.
This incident remains under investigation and release of information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
