The Fort Wayne Police Department has arrested Alisha Lampkin for the murder of Tonisha T Richardson which occurred earlier today in the 4700 block of Jason Drive.

Details/Summary:
Late this afternoon Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Detectives made an arrest in the homicide of a young woman earlier today. Officers were called to 4700 Jason Dr. There they found a woman suffering from what appeared to be a stabbing. She was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries where she later died during treatment.
Detectives had suspect information early and had detained a person of interest, Alisha Lampkin. After interviewing her, they arrested her for Murder. She will be booked into Allen County Jail and appear in Allen County Superior Court tomorrow.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
