
On January 22, 2020, the Fort Wayne Police Department released the following statement:
We do have reason to believe that the Logan Avenue, Euclid Avenue and Senate Street shootings are all linked. We do have person(s) of interest in these shootings. We are looking for additional information and are asking for the communities help. If you have ANY information, no matter how small you think it is, call us at 427-1201 and ask to speak to a homicide detective. These acts of violence are not acceptable and are not what we should accept as normal. Come forward and help us stop this.
On January 20, 2020, at 0007 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 3400 block of Senate Avenue regarding a reported shooting.

Details/Summary:
On 1/20/2020 at approximately 12:07 am officers responded to 3411 Senate Avenue for a reported shooting. Upon arrival on scene officers located a male victim in his late 40’s that was suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived on scene and declared the male deceased. Preliminary investigation indicated that the shots may have come from outside the residence as shell casings were found in the street.
The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigators will be conducting the investigation at this time. Anyone with information should contact the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1201 or 436-STOP.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
