
Update: A murder warrant has been issued for Sedrick Williams in connection with the shooting death of Marlon Kimbrough on January 7, 2020, of this year.
On January 7, 2020, at 0904 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to Meyer Road and Oxford Street regarding a man down near the railroad tracks.

Location: the intersection of Meyer Road and Oxford Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Time: 0904 hours
Victim: Male Black/ Adult
Details/Summary:
Railroad workers notified police of a man down at Oxford and Meyer today around 0904am. Upon arrival officers did find an adult male near tracks. It did not appear as though he had been struck by a train. The male was pronounced deceased on the scene. Fort Wayne Detectives were notified and the death is being investigated. The death has been determined to be suspicious in nature. The Allen County Coroner’s Office will be releasing the cause of death and identity of the victim at a later time.
