On December 21, 2019, at 1551 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to the Arbors of Southtown at 7915 Decatur Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 1553 hours
Under Control: 1600 hours
Firefighters arrived and found moderate smoke coming from a second floor window. Fire units made quick entry into the building and found a fire in the kitchen of the apartment. Multiple other crews arrived and cleared the structure of any occupants. The fire department did assist one occupant from the building. The fire was placed under control in only 7 minutes and is under investigation at this time. FWFD was assisted by FWPD,TRAA, NHC.
