On October 12, 2019, at 2341 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 2341 hours
On Scene: 2345 hours
Under Control: 2354 hours
The first firefighters on the scene reported heavy smoke and fire in rear of structure. Crews pulled a hand line and quickly extinguished the fire. A search of the first and second floor found two dogs and a cat, all if which were reunited with their owners. Extensive overhaul was needed in the kitchen area and adjacent rooms.
