On October 3, 2019, at 0322 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 3900 block of Clermont Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Under Control: 0412 hours
Neighbors called 9-1-1 this morning when they awoke to find flames thru the roof of a nearby home. When firefighters arrived three minutes later, the entire attic area was on fire and the roof was collapsing. Units attacked the fire from outside and had to safely work around downed power lines in the yard. Water was applied from outside and from a ladder truck until the fire was under control. The fire was under control 50 minutes after it was reported.
Two people on the scene when firefighters arrived advised there was no one inside.
The fire is still under investigation.
