Don’t Miss August Summer Nights at the Embassy
(August 5, 2019) – Four great talents will finish up the 2019 Summer Nights at the Embassy programming, which takes place each Wednesday evening through August at the Embassy Theatre.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Food is available for purchase along with a cash bar. Tickets are $5 plus applicable fees at the STAR Bank box office at the Embassy, Ticketmaster.com and 800.745.3000. Sponsors include Barnes & Thornburg, LLP, First Federal Bank, Fort Financial Credit Union and Lincoln Financial Group. Aug. 7: Local legend Chris Worth performs a variety of songs, from rock and jazz to country and Nat King Cole. Food by Ziffles.
- Aug. 14: Saxophonist Quincy Sanders will hit all the right notes when he brings Q and the Cold Fusion to Summer Nights. Food by Club Soda.
- Aug. 21: Returning to Fort Wayne is Lydia Brittan from Nashville, Tenn., with her modern take on folk and funk. Brittan also was featured on the NPR Tiny Desk Contest in 2017. Food by Club Soda.
- Aug. 28: Crowd-pleaser Fatima Washington closes out Summer Nights 2019 with R&B, soul and other favorites. Food by Bravas.
Each night is designed to be a relaxing chance to savor summer in the Embassy’s two-level Yergens Rogers Foundation Ballroom. Patrons will interact with the entertainment in the ballroom and enjoy Fort Wayne’s skyline from the Parkview Health Rooftop Patio.
