
On March 2, 2019, at 0323 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1500 block of Pontiac Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

On Scene: 0326 hours
Under Control: 0354 hours
The first firefighters arrived on the scene in just two minutes. They found a medium two-story house with heavy fire and smoke coming from the front porch and front rooms of the house. The occupants of the structure had already self-evacuated upon the department’s arrival. Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and had it under control in about 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
The American Red Cross was also call to assist the four adults and nine children.
