News release from the Allen County Coroner:
1st Homicide victim in Allen County for 2019
(February 5, 2019) – The autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin, of the male victim that was located on the street in the 1000 block of Senate Avenue in Fort Wayne, on February 2, 2019, at approximately 20:38 hours. He has been positively identified as Tristan Tywan Norton Carter, male, black, 31 years of age, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Cause of Death has been determined to be Multiple Gunshot Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Tristan Tywan Norton Carter is the 1st Homicide victim in Allen County for 2019.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
