Victim: Adult Male / Critical Condition
Details/Summary:
On Saturday, 01/12/2019, at approximately 10:24 PM, the City of Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 1200 block of St. Jospeh Blvd. reference a stabbing investigation. Officers arrived on scene and located a male/adult victim inside a residence. The victim was conscious and appeared to be suffering from an apparent stab wound to the left arm. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital in serious condition. Upon arriving at the hospital, the victim was downgraded to critical condition by a physician.
Preliminary information indicates there was a disturbance prior to the stabbing. Detectives are currently interviewing potential witnesses at the scene. They hope to obtain suspect information once those interviews are concluded.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fort Wayne Police Department and the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. There are no additional details at this time.
