Lott Announces Candidacy for City Council Fourth District
Candidate to Run in Republican Primary May 7
(December 13, 2018) — Local businesswoman Rachel Lott will host a press conference announcing her candidacy for City Council’s fourth district on Thursday, December 13 at 2:15 pm. The press conference will be held at Waynedale Memorial Park, 2900 Koons Street, in Fort Wayne.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to represent my neighbors and fellow residents,” Lott said. “I’m running to serve the people of Fort Wayne. I value listening, teamwork, and collaboration. I support essential public services and pro-growth strategies that enrich the lives of our citizens.”
Lott’s campaign priorities include neighborhood and community building, fiscal responsibility, education and workforce, and public safety. Lott will conduct listening tours starting in January, inviting residents to participate in two-way conversations about their needs and concerns.
“The only way to lead is by listening,” Lott said. “I will put the needs of my neighbors first and will work hard for them every day. I love living here and want to be a part of making Fort Wayne an even better place to live, work and play.
