News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, Andrew Street
(September 23, 2018) – FWFD responded to a possible house fire. When the first units arrived they found heavy smoke and fire on the exterior of the home that had extended into the attic and the wall of the Home. Crews extinguished the fire and checked for extension throughout the structure.
There was no one in the home upon the Fire Department’s arrival. The fire is under investigation.
The Fire Department was assisted by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, Neighborhood Code Enforcement, Indiana Michigan Power, and NIPSCO.
